About the Smith

This gunsmith shop is owned by Mitchell Baldwin, hence the name. Mitch joined the Army National Guard in 2006 as a 19D Cavalry Scout. He was deployed in 2008-2009 to Iraq, where he was injured by an IED (improvised explosive device), along with one other member of his crew. Thankfully no one was lost in the attack. 

Mitch has also been hunting since he was able to carry a rifle. Traveling to the family hunting camp alongside his grandfather Rodger and uncle Toby, who taught him the fine art of taking a rifle for a walk and sitting in the woods hoping to see that beautiful buck come over the ridge. 

From these experiences, Mitch gained a great appreciation and love for firearms and anything outdoors. This love runs through the company and its owner. Fishing, camping, kayaking, and of course shooting some guns.
